There are currently 4 Explorer Units in the Fylde. Click on a name to find out more details on each Unit.
One unit not shown on the map is the Young Leaders Unit. This is the only specialist unit in the district – all the members of that Unit are working with a Beaver Colony, Cub Pack or Scout Troop. The Young Leaders Unit is where they are looked after and get trained.
Explorer Scouts are welcome to attend the meeting of any of the units in the district. The members of each unit plan their meetings based on what they want to do. If there is something that interests you then you can arrange to go along and take part. All you have to do is make contact with the Unit before you turn up to check where to meet and whether there are limits on how many people can attend.
Each unit sends at least one Rep to the District Explorer Forum once a month to help plan district events and to pick up information on opportunities across the county and nationally.
