And what happens if you're nearing your 18th birthday? What can you do next?

At 18 you automatically become a member of the Scout Network, they should already have been in touch with you about the opportunities open to you in Scout Network and to invite you to any linking events. If you haven't heard anything then drop them an email via their website, or pester your leader to get in touch with them.

Fylde have a fantastic active Network membership, you can choose your level of involvement in Network so that it takes up all your Scouting time or leaves you time for other alternatives such as becoming a Leader.
